God(tm) - Joeb Kim model sheet
So, my next big comic project is this sci-fi satire comedy where Christianity corporatized. ( I'm trying to make this one beautiful as well as witty (I'm tired of dick & fart jokes. They're too easy and very predictable), making model sheets, doing exploded views of backgrounds, colors, etc. Unlike Speak No Evil and The Devil and the Monk this is not an exercise in drawing fast. I was trying to develop a rhythm and speed. By the way, "The Devil and the Monk" is part of this story.
Right now, the working title of this humorous opus is:
God(tm) copyright 2xx8 *** ***** ****** ******* Inc. All rights reserved. All characters and the distinctive name and likenesses thereof and all related indicia are trademarks of *** ***** ****** ******* Inc. No similarity between any of the names, characters, persons and/or institutions in this story with those of any living or dead person or institutions is intended and any such similarity which may exist is purely coincidental.
(2xx8 is pronounced: Twenty-ex exty eight. Plus I can't seem to do that trademark and copyright symbol on Blogger.)
I think the title is too short.
Anyway, here is a model sheet of one of the lead characters.
Asians are very easy to draw. All I need to do is find a mirror and I have great reference. (C'mon, Jim Lee draws Wolverine a bit slanty-eyed and no one's complaining!)
